Bring a burst of cosmic colour to your jewellery collection with this fabulous late 20th Century vintage multi-gemstone starburst pendant. Crafted in 925 sterling silver, this vibrant floral cluster is set with seven oval-cut natural gemstones in a dazzling spectrum of colour, including blue tourmaline, purple amethyst, green peridot, smoky quartz, and glowing yellow-orange citrines. Each stone is beautifully held within open-backed settings, enhanced by delicate beaded accents.

The pendant is inspired by the exuberant spirit of late-19th-century Harlequin jewellery, a style influenced by the colourful patchwork costumes of the characters of 16th-century Commedia dell’arte. By the 19th century, this playful aesthetic had found its way into jewellery, with richly coloured gemstones arranged in joyful, kaleidoscopic combinations. The result was jewellery that felt both wonderfully luxurious and delightfully unconventional.

In excellent condition, this joyful multi-gemstone pendant is a fabulous choice for the free-spirited collector, gemstone lover, or anyone who simply refuses to choose a favourite colour. Wear it on a simple silver chain and let its radiant burst of colour take centre stage.
