A sweet Edwardian inspired pendant from the late 20th Century decorated with white seed pearls and two pendulum droppers adorned with green peridots (approx. 0.50 & 0.25ct). They’re suspended in the middle of a fabulous, open-work gallery, fashioned in 9ct gold with a bow on top.
Peridots are considered a stone of springtime and were named “the gem of the sun” by the ancient Egyptians. Its natural lime-green colouring and inner light evoke the beauty of a sunny spring day and bring feelings of joy and serenity to all around it.
It’s very pretty and is complete with Birmingham hallmarks, the maker’s mark and a fine 9ct curb chain to display it on.
