A striking vintage tiger’s eye brooch built around an enormous cabochon tiger’s eye weighing approx. 70 carats. The stone is set in a silver frame with a twisted, rope-edge border and has a lovely chocolate-brown hue with lighter stripes of toffee-brown that illuminate and move across the curvature of the stone as it moves left to right.
The Tiger’s Eye has been revered throughout history as a stone of strength, courage and good fortune. Its dark brown colouring and iridescent golden bands are reminiscent of a tiger’s stripes and can sometimes display as one glowing strip down the centre, resembling a tiger’s eye.
It’s a spectacular piece boasting a truly mesmerising tiger’s eye that has remained intact and in excellent condition. It’s complete with a strong pin and safety chain at the back to hold it secure.
We also have a matching ring and necklace that would go perfectly with this piece. Please enquire or search code: 24-227 to view the ring, and 24-226 to view the necklace.
